Beauty Haul: Sephora + Ulta

Beauty Haul - Sephora and Ulta

Do you ever start watching beauty/makeup videos online or reading blog posts and suddenly you need to go out and buy 15+ new beauty products? Guilty.Beauty Haul - Sephora and UltaIt’s actually turning into a problem. But needless to say, I did it again. It wasn’t sudden and impulsive this time at least. These products have been sitting in my Sephora and Ulta shopping carts online for about a month at this point. I sit there and look at them nearly every day, and just can’t pull the trigger. I struggle more with online shopping than impulsive purchases. Go figure. (I hate waiting for the two-day shipping…First-World problems, I know).

Anyhow, I ditched the online shopping cart and dropped into the stores and pick up the products myself.

Want to see what I picked up in my most recent beauty haul? Read on.

SEPHORA

Collective Beauty Haul Sunday Riley – Power Couple Kit | I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this line and all of Sunday Riley’s products. I am looking forward to trying the combination of these two products in the evenings before bed to really make a change in my skin and get rid of the dryness and hyper-pigmentation (post-breakout spots) that I have on my cheeks.

Belif – The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb | I love a good cream moisturizer. Every few months I need to switch up my skincare routine so that my skin is constantly adapting, and not getting too used to the same products. For me, when I can tell me skin is adapting to products I’ve used for a long time, it starts to get dry and flakey, and then I know it’s time to switch things up. The moment I put this on the back of my hand I knew I needed it. It feels so incredibly moisturizing.

Philosophy – Renewed Hope in a Jar SPF 30 | To go along with my new skincare regimen, I need a daytime moisturizer that contains SPF. Typically it’s challenging to find a cream moisturizer with SPF (they’re usually a lotion to be lighter for the daytime under makeup), but I need something that’s going to keep my moisturized all day. I’ve never used any Philosophy products so I’m excited to try this moisturizer!

Collective Beauty Haul

Hourglass – Ambient Lighting Bronzer“Luminous Bronze Light” | Okay so I finally caved. I feel like everyone whose everyone in the beauty community has this and RAVES about how amazing it is. And in every “Best Bronzer” post or video, this little product makes an appearance. I shutter a little to think how much I spent on one illuminating bronzer, so I’m hoping and praying that I fall in love to make it all worth it.

Milk Cosmetics – Highlighter “Lit” | I actually originally went into Sephora to pick up the Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizer and this caught my eye. I actually compared the two on my hand and I felt like this one looked more natural and gave more of a “wet” look (and yes, that’s a good thing). This is my first Milk Makeup product purchase and I usually don’t tend to gravitate towards stick highlighters (they’re harder to work with than creams), but I’m going to give this a go! It’s gorgeous.

Collective Beauty Haul

Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour“Praline Cream” | Just what I need right? Another nude lippie to add to my collection of like a million. I saw this just messing around at Sephora and was instantly sold. I love that it’s a neutral pinky-beige tone and that it’s a satin finish, which is my FAVORITE finish for lipsticks.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss “Butterscotch” | I saw Shelby Wilson use this in one of her makeup tutorial videos and it looked so pretty! A beautiful pale nude-pinky shade. I swear I have bought like 10 nude lip products just because I’ve seen her use them.

ULTA

Collective Beauty HaulClinique Sun-kissed Face Gelee Complextion Multitasker | I don’t tan my face, so usually (more like always), my face is lighter than my body. It makes it challenging to wear “barely there” makeup when the two don’t match. People would look at me weird in public like I was wearing a white face mask or something. I’ve been looking for a product that I could put on either under my makeup or in place of makeup that closes the gap between my self-tanned body and my pastey white face. We will see if this Gelee does the job.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer“Light Neutral” | The best concealer ever. I finally finished my first tube of this and just can’t find anything else like it to take its place. It’s the best and covers all of my dark circles under my eyes.

NYX Butter Gloss – “Madeleine” | And following the best concealer, the best lip gloss. I LOVE the Butter Glosses. This one is probably my favorite because it matches my natural lip color the best and gives me a beautiful wash of color and a glossy finish. LOVE.

NYX Eyebrow Gel“Brunette” | Another repurchase. This is my 3rd tube of this and it’s the best eyebrow gel I’ve used. It can be tough to work with, but once it’s on, it doesn’t budge.

Collective Beauty HaulModel’s Own Grand Finale Loose Powder | I saw a review of the Models Own makeup line from Casey Holmes on YouTube and it seemed like there were a couple of good products! She mentioned she really liked the Foundation and the finishing powder. I’m looking for a new loose powder that’s cheaper than my Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder to use day to day, so I have high hopes for this product!

Model’s Own Runway Foundation“Buff” | This foundation claims a matte finish and full coverage. From Casey’s video, it looks like insanely full coverage so I’m looking forward to giving it a try. This brand, though it’s drugstore, is on the higher end of the drugstore so I’m looking forward to seeing if they’re higher quality.

Makeup Revolution Skin Kiss“Golden Kiss” | I didn’t intend to pick this up, but I couldn’t pass by it in the isle. It’s HUGE. It reminded me a lot of the Ofra highlighter in “Rodeo Drive” that’s about $30. I’ve heard this brand’s highlighter are a bit powdery, but I couldn’t resist the huge pan of gold sparkle.

Collective Beauty HaulFormula 10.0.6 – So Totally Clean – Micellar Cleansing Water | Another repurchase. I like that this product isn’t oily, and it’s perfect for sensitive skin. It does a great job of taking off all of my makeup and not drying out my skin. I’ve tried a few other cleansing waters, and came back to this one.

Batiste Hint of Color Dry Shampoo “Beautiful Brunette” | My hair is darker now than it used to be, and every time I want to use a dry shampoo, it always leaves a white cast over my hair – making my look like I’m graying (suuuper awesome…). I knew there were brands which made tinted dry shampoos so I’m looking forward to seeing if this one works for my brown hair (or those with darker hair colors).

Phew, I think that’s everything! I hope you enjoyed this beauty haul from Sephora and Ulta!
