Morphe Copper Spice Palette – Review + Swatches

Morphe Copper Spice 25A Palette

I’m a huge fan of Morphe products! Here is my full review of the Limited Edition Morphe Copper Spice 25A palette with swatches! The first palette that I purchased from Morphe was the 35O palette, one of their best selling – if not their BEST selling palette, and it quickly became one of my favorites. There was so much buzz surrounding these new limited edition palettes, the Copper Spice 25A warm-toned palette, and the Bronze Mocha 25B cool-toned palette. The first time I tried purchasing both of those palettes, they were both sold out. I finally saw an Instagram post about a month or so ago saying that both the Copper Spice and Bronze Mocha were back in stock! I got on the website that evening, literally not even 8 hours after they had announced that the palettes were back in stock, and the Bronze Mocha pallet was already sold out!

I was able to get my hands on the Morphe Copper Spice palette!

They have since both been sold out, however I was just looking at their website yesterday and they now have BOTH the Copper Spice and Bronze Mocha palettes IN STOCK. You can find them here. Each of them retails for $17.99 or you can purchase them as a set for $33.98.

There are 25 total shades in the palette, 15 are matte, and the rest are shimmery or metallic.

“An exotic and earthy mix of deep browns and spicy shades are the perfect complement to the fiery metallic and shimmering taupes of this palette. For a coppery glow or a sultry smolder, this Morphe Copper Spice palette turns up the heat!”

PIGMENTATION

The pigmentation in this palette is incredible. When I initially swatched it on my fingers, I barely had to even touch the shadow and I got excellent pigmentation. Now, with some shadow palettes, you can get an excellent swatch on your fingers, but the shadow doesn’t swatch well on the skin when applied with a brush. These shadows aren’t like that. They still have really great pigmentation when applied with a brush onto the eye.

APPLICATION

The only thing that I don’t totally love about this palette, that I also didn’t love about the Morphe 35O palette is the fall-out that you get in some of the darker shades. If I’m doing a makeup look that incorporates more of the darker shades, I’ll definitely start with my eyes, and finish with my face makeup to avoid the fall-out of the darker shadows onto my already applied face makeup that could potentially smear.
The shadows go on smoothly and blend out really nicely. I don’t have problems with patchiness. I will say that I do set all over my lid and crease area with a powder after applying shadow primer and before going in with the colors in the palette.

You can view THIS post to see a makeup look that I created using this palette.

Overall, I really love this palette. For me it has the PERFECT combination of warm shades. I do wish that it had a few more transition shades between the ultra lights and ultra darks, but overall this palette is a winner for me.

This is my second Morphe palette and I truly feel like the quality is there. I’ll definitely be picking up the Bronze Mocha palette too!

MANY YouTubers and bloggers have discount codes that you can use at checkout to save some money (10% I think) on your purchase. I personally do not have my own discount code, but they’re easy to find if you are looking to save some money. If you choose to use someone’s discount code, yes, they yield a commission from your purchase, but I’m okay with that – it’s all just personal preference.

Have you tried this Morphe palette or will you be picking up either of these?!
